Have you ever read this classic book? It is a great one, and the first time I read it with my kids, I knew that it was made for dance class!!
The idea we have for today is to experience what it is like to move like a snowplow. We will do this through some different movement explorations as a class. In this weeks printable there are 6 different visual aids all about how snow plows move, and ideas for improvisations for each one.
In the printable that comes with these visual aids we outline how to walk your class through all of these different inspirations with improvisations. We think these ideas could create new and innovative movement for the students in your class.
If you like this idea...you will love the other ideas we have to go with this book that are included in our "Children's Book Lesson ideas" listed in our shop. (Including teaching about pathways and directions.)
We hope that this lesson idea will be a fun one for these cold and snowy winter months!
Keep Dancing!
