Hey everyone!
We know that sometimes, understanding new concepts or keeping track of important information can be tricky. That’s why we’ve put together a collection of printable visual aids to make things easier and more engaging for you!
One of our latest resources includes Dance Teaching Ideas for the book “The Spaces In Between” by Jaspreet Kaur, illustrated by Manjit Thapp. These lesson ideas align with the National Standards of Dance and help students CREATE, PERFORM, RESPOND, and CONNECT. (Want more lesson ideas to go with Childrens's Books? Head to our shop and get more using the link below!)
A key concept in this lesson is understanding Positive and Negative Space in dance. Using our printable visuals, you can define and explore these spaces in a fun and interactive way. Activities include creating positive and negative shapes, responding to movement, and performing an improvisation inspired by a quote from the book.

Students will have the opportunity to reflect on their experiences using the included journal prompts, helping them make deeper connections between movement and meaning.
What’s even better? These resources are completely free to download! You can print them out, pin them up, or keep them handy for quick reference. We’re always adding new materials, so be sure to check back often for fresh content.
So go ahead—grab the printables that work for you and make learning (or organizing) a whole lot simpler. Let us know if there’s anything else you’d love to see, and we’ll do our best to create it!
Happy Dancing!
